Automated Network Investigator (ANI for short) boosts root cause analysis by combining automation software with real-time network and customer data. Whether plugged into a live feed of inbound customer complaints or used by engineers for site or area-based diagnostics, ANI rapidly interprets, analyses and summarises the cause of any identified network issue.

What is ANI?

ANI is a powerful automation feature within Metricell’s SmartTools platform, built on our deep experience working with complex operator datasets. It transforms traditional root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting into a faster, fully-autonomous process, reducing reliance on manual investigation and accelerating time to resolution.

Using automated data correlation and proprietary algorithms, ANI processes large volumes of input data, from OSS KPIs and fault data, to crowdsource metrics and customer complaints; to pinpoint the true source of performance issues. Whether the cause is degraded site performance, a coverage gap or a localised anomaly, ANI delivers clear, actionable insights.
