A network question can cross several teams before it reaches a useful answer. An adviser needs to explain a service issue. An engineer needs to inspect the evidence. A planning team needs to decide whether the location deserves further investigation. Each may be working in a different application.
The Metricell Platform provides a shared intelligence environment for that work. It combines connected network data with applications, analytical tools and Agentic AI. The purpose is to make capabilities reusable across roles, while retaining the specialist detail and permissions each task requires.
GIS gives users spatial context and access to relevant layers. Dashboards turns connected information into reusable views. Customer Care supports service enquiries, while RPO manages engineering tasks and actions. Service Assurance contributes field measurements and other permitted evidence.
These capabilities can help operators examine duplicated reporting, repeated evidence gathering and overlapping tool use. That creates an opportunity to assess tool rationalisation; it is not a promise that every specialist application can be replaced. APIs and MCP also allow intelligence to be used within existing systems and operator-built tools.
Metricell’s AI approach has two objectives. The first is workflow productivity: understand intent, follow an approved procedure, gather and analyse evidence, then explain a conclusion and recommended next step. The second is better access to expertise: make approved methods and knowledge easier for people outside the originating team to use.
Agent Builder, reusable skills, knowledge grounding and permissioned tools support those objectives. Configured examples include RAN Optimisation, UK Mobile Network Benchmarking, UK Radio Planning, VIP Customer Complaints, Outage Customer Impact Assessment and Drive Test Survey Analyser. Each needs the appropriate sources and agreed customer scope.
The user can inspect maps, tables and records alongside the response, challenge the explanation and decide what should happen next. Missing evidence must remain visible rather than turning into a confident assumption.
Authorised clients can invoke agents themselves on demand through MCP today. Platform-managed scheduling, delegated responses during absence and event-triggered execution are separate roadmap directions.
Start with one recurring workflow, its sources and the person responsible for the decision. Evaluate the effort, evidence quality and review required before expanding to other teams.
Book a Metricell Platform walkthrough and explore which combination of applications, interfaces and AI best supports that first workflow.

Every team has that person who just knows where to look. AI agents can make their operational knowledge easier to access and share, while keeping engineers in control.
